صبغة الله ومن احسن من الله صبغة. وقفات مع قوله تعالى: (صِبْغَةَ اللَّهِ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللَّهِ صِبْغَةً) .. سورة البقرة الآية 138

Sedang maksudnya ialah agama-Nya yang telah difitrahkan-Nya atas manusia dengan pengaruh dan bekasnya yang menonjol, tak ubah bagai celupan terhadap kain

This practice was subsequently taken over by the Christians and is termed 'baptism'

What really is worth doing is to adopt the colour of God, and it is not water that gives one this colour but actual service and devotion to God.

{صِبْغَةَ اللّهِ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللّهِ صِبْغَةً ): Dan siapakah maksudnya tidak seorang pun yang lebih baik celupannya dari Allah shibghah di sini menjadi 'tamyiz' dan hanya kepada-Nya kami menyembah
