For unless the Muslims were prepared to assume the attitude and orientation of the Jews and to follow all their errors in belief and practice, there was no question of their being able to bring about any reconciliation with them.

جواب شبهة حول قوله تعالى ولن ترضى عنك اليهود..: Sesungguhnya, jika 'lam' menunjukkan sumpah kamu ikuti keinginan mereka yakni apa-apa yang mereka anjurkan setelah datangnya pengetahuan kepadamu maksudnya wahyu dari Allah maka Allah tidak lagi menjadi pelindung yang akan melindungimu dan tidak pula menolong

" And if, after all the' knowledge you have received, you were to yield to their desires, you shall find neither any friend nor helper to protect you from Allah's wrath
